“As part of international cooperation regarding Leopard tanks, Finland will transfer three Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, as well as provide training related to their use and maintenance. These three tanks are included in the assistance package, which has now been decided,” the message says.

Finland did not disclose the contents of the military aid packages, and the tanks were an exception.
“For operational reasons and to ensure the safe delivery of aid, no other content, delivery method or schedule will be announced in more detail,” the Defense Department said.

In total, the value of the 13th package is more than 160 million euros. The total value of all military aid packages supplied by Finland to Ukraine is more than 750 million euros, the ministry said.

Russia sent a note to NATO countries because of the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any cargo that contains weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia. He warned that as the West pumped more and more long-range weapons into Ukraine, the geographical objectives of the special operation were moving further and further from the current line. The West must understand that the supply of weapons to Ukraine will not strengthen its security, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
